If you are curious about the sport, this is a perfect opportunity to learn the ropes.

Fall Warmup

The fall warm up is the time for NWSDA members to come together as we prepare for the fall season.

Run your dogs, get some gear at the gear swap (or offload gear you no loner need), and then lets get Dogtown ready for the season! Bring your work gloves and good attitude if you wish to join in on the fun!

We will have a potluck on Saturday night for work party members and pull clinic attendees, so bring something to share!

Beginner Clinic

The weekend will also include a FREE intro to mushing clinic starting after lunch on Saturday!

The clinic will last a couple of hours.

Learn the basics of running, biking, and scootering with your dog.

Dogs of all breeds and sizes welcome.  No experience or equipment necessary.

What to expect: Introduction to proper equipment, proper harness fit, how to mush safely, and an opportunity to try muhsing on our trails!

What to bring: Water and snacks, water for your dog, dog leash and collar, comfortable clothes, and your canine buddy! If you want to bike and already have a mountain bike (and helmet), you are welcome to bring it! If you don't, don't worry - you can use a borrowed bike.

SAFETY NOTE: Dogs are not allowed off leash anywhere at camp. Mushing events are very exciting to our dogs, so this is very important for the safety of all dogs and people. Additionally, please be mindful of giving other teams space as you walk around camp with your dog!
