Frequently Asked Questions

I don't have a husky, can I still do this sport?

Of course! Many breeds love the sport. We even have a team member with a chihuahua!

Can I use any harness?

No, please be sure to use a harness built specifically for pulling sports and that is the right fit for your dog. Our club members can help you if you don’t know what to look for. Using the wrong harness for mushing could injure your dog.

My dog doesn't like other dogs, can I still do this sport?

Yes, plenty of people run with reactive dogs. Our clinic is a great way to learn ways to control your dog on the trail and keep everyone safe.
